The Kennel Club of Palm Springs "New Year Classic" — a specialty and group-club day followed by three KCPS All-Breed shows, outdoors at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California, kicking off the dog-show year on the first weekend of every year.

2026 edition. Junior Showmanship was offered Saturday, January 3 and Sunday, January 4, 2026, per the 2026 premium (Jack Bradshaw; $22 Junior Show entry). Monday, January 5 is not confirmed.
Pee Wee (2026 edition). The Pee Wee Special Attraction was held Saturday, January 3, 2026 at noon — ages 5–9, free, with day-of entries, mentored by Mrs. Karen Dorn, and followed by a participant-and-adult luncheon, per the same 2026 premium.
