Montgomery Weekend 2026

October 1–4, 2026 — four shows, one big Terrier weekend.

01

Weekend at a glance

Four-show Terrier weekend: Hatboro on Thursday and Friday, Devon on Saturday, and the Montgomery County Kennel Club Terrier classic on Sunday. The two Hatboro shows and Devon are All-Breed shows; Sunday's Montgomery County Kennel Club show is a Limited-Breed outdoor all-Terrier show with breed-level NOHS for nine breeds (no NOHS Groups or Best Owner-Handled in Show), closing with Best in Show.

Every five years, the week opens a day early with the Morris & Essex Kennel Club show on Wednesday — the elegant revival of Geraldine Rockefeller Dodge’s legendary 1927–1957 classic at Colonial Park, NJ. Last held October 1, 2025; the next is October 2, 2030.

Today’s Ring Card

Your show-day schedule, saved by date. ★ Favorite breeds follow you to every show; ▶ showing today is just this day’s working list — the dogs you actually have ringside.

How it works

Pick a day, add the breeds you’re following, and the card builds your schedule from the official 2026 judging programs. Enter the number of dogs judged before your breed in each ring and the card estimates your actual ring time (2 minutes per dog) and when to be ringside (15 minutes earlier). Anything saved here lives in this browser — permanent favorites will sync to your account later.

Breeds with verified ring times are seeded from the official judging programs — anything else you add shows its panel judge with the ring time marked not yet entered. Counts read as class dogs / class bitches / specials dogs / specials bitches (e.g. 11/14/4/6).

Ring times from the official 2026 judging programs (Jim Rau Dog Shows for Hatboro, MB-F/InfoDog for Devon and Montgomery). A listed start time applies to the ring’s first breed of the block, not necessarily to yours — the 2-minutes-per-dog estimate is a working guess, never exact.

04

Breed judge finder

Search any breed to see which judge has it at each of the four shows. Judging programs (ring times) are published — panels below are from the official premium lists. Hatboro (Thu/Fri) and Devon (Sat) are All-Breed shows; Montgomery (Sun) is the all-Terrier show, closing with Best in Show.

(p) = permit/provisional. All four panels are approved per the official 2026 premium lists.

05

06

Special competitions

Beyond the regular breed, group, and Best in Show competition, each day offers special competitions. The AKC National Owner-Handled Series (NOHS) is a separate competition for dogs handled by their owners — no professional handlers — with its own NOHS Groups and NOHS Best in Show. Bred-By-Exhibitor classes are for dogs shown by the person who bred them. Brace pairs two dogs of the same breed, shown as a team and judged on how well they match and move together. Verified 2026

Thu Oct 1 — Hatboro

NOHS — offered; NOHS Groups and NOHS Best in Show follow the regular groups — NOHS Best in Show: Mr. John Constantine.

Fri Oct 2 — Hatboro

Brace — Mr. Mark Darwish — Best Brace in Show: Ms. Pamela Bruce.
