National specialty
The 2026 ABC National Specialty — Friday, October 23, 2026, at the Stoney Creek Hotel, 200 W Albany Street, Broken Arrow, Oklahoma (event 2026209810). The national specialty regular and non-regular classes, junior showmanship, and Best of Breed were judged by Karen Dewey; Cathleen Caballero judged obedience and rally on Wednesday, October 21; Jennifer Hallett judged the futurity on Wednesday, October 21; and Israel Garcia judged the puppy, junior, and veteran sweepstakes on Thursday, October 22. Entries closed at noon Eastern on Wednesday, September 30, 2026. Show Chair: Wendy Musgrove. Superintendent: Executive Dog Shows.
The national week ran Saturday, October 17 – Saturday, October 24: all-breed scent work trials on October 17–18, trailing days on October 19–20 with a trailing awards dinner and welcome reception, futurity, obedience and rally, the Top 10 invitational, and dinner on Wednesday, October 21, sweepstakes and judges education on Thursday, October 22, the national breed show, annual meeting, awards, and auction banquet on Friday, October 23, and the South Central Bloodhound Trailblazer regional specialty on Saturday, October 24.

The 2025 ABC National Specialty — Thursday, October 2 – Friday, October 3, 2025, at the Radisson Penn Harris Hotel & Convention Center, 1150 Camp Hill Bypass, Camp Hill, Pennsylvania (event 2025209812). The conformation entry was 56 dogs (30 dogs, 26 bitches) with 63 entries, judged by M Canalizo, and Chelsea Latch was Best Junior Handler. Entries closed Wednesday, September 3, 2025. Event Chair: Rick Shriver. Superintendent: Executive Dog Shows, LLC.

National specialty
The 2024 ABC National Specialty — national week Wednesday, September 18 – Saturday, September 21, 2024, at the Ocean Shores Convention Center, 120 W Chance A La Mer Avenue, Ocean Shores, Washington, hosted by the Pacific Rim Bloodhound Club. The National Specialty ran Friday, September 20 (event 2024209818), judged by Edmund Dziuk, with 43 dogs and 65 entries across the national events. The futurity ran Wednesday, September 18, judged by Susan Markley, and the veteran and puppy sweepstakes ran Thursday, September 19, judged by Karen Dewey. Entries closed Wednesday, August 28, 2024. Show Secretary: Georjie’s Dog Events.
The Northwest Regional Specialty ran Saturday, September 21 (event 2024209819), with sweepstakes judged by Laura Reeves and the regular classes judged by Sylvie McGee, and 37 dogs with 51 entries. Mantrailing trials opened the week on Monday and Tuesday, September 16–17.
