Saturday, October 10 — the Mid-Atlantic Hound Association holds a concurrent hound specialty alongside the all-breed show; the English Foxhound Club of America holds a designated specialty (AKC); and the newly formed Southeast Spinone Club holds its first designated specialty with the Hanover Kennel Club.

Sunday, October 11 — the Mid-Atlantic Hound Association holds a concurrent hound specialty; the Spinone Club of America and the Southeast Spinone Club hold supported entries; and the Carolina Petit Basset Griffon Vendéen Club is supporting the entry. AKC event numbers pending

The venue

The show is outdoors at Legion Stadium, 2149 Carolina Beach Road in Wilmington, a few miles south of downtown and the riverfront. Bring sun cover and check the forecast the week of the show — October on the Carolina coast can still run warm.

Getting there

Wilmington International Airport is the closest airport. I-40 and US-17 both run into Wilmington, so the stadium is an easy drive from Raleigh, Fayetteville, and the Myrtle Beach area.
