What is West Oahu Kennel Club 2027?
The West Oahu Kennel Club's January weekend is Oahu's winter all-breed show: two all-breed conformation shows, Saturday and Sunday, on the grounds of Ka Waihona o Ka Na'auao Public Charter School in Waianae, on the island's west side. The shows are unbenched and outdoors — January in Waianae runs near 80°F, so it's a sun-and-trade-winds show while the mainland shovels snow.
The 2026 shows were the club's 134th and 135th, with Junior Showmanship and designated specialties for the Hawaii Cane Corso Association and the Siberian Husky Club of Hawaii.

Can you still enter?
Not yet. As of mid-October 2026, the 2027 premium list has not been published, so entries are not yet open. The 2026 shows closed December 31, 2025, and entries are expected to close Wednesday, December 30, 2026, at 12:00 noon Pacific (9:00 A.M. Hawaii), through BaRay Event Services at barayevents.com. Entry fees are not yet published.
Why go
It's the only AKC all-breed weekend in January where you'll show in a t-shirt. The outdoor, unbenched format is relaxed, the island exhibitor community is welcoming, and a January trip to Oahu beats a January anywhere else. Getting there
Fly into Daniel K. Inouye International Airport (HNL). Check Hawaii's animal quarantine requirements before booking — the direct-release program needs paperwork completed well in advance.
Where to stay
