Why go

The national specialty is the one week of the year when the Bullmastiff world gathers in one place. The futurity is a window into the breed's future. The Top 25 competition — Thursday night, black-tie energy — honors the year's top dogs. And Saturday's Best of Breed, with Best Brindle in Show (an award only the Bullmastiff national offers), is the most electric moment of the week.

The national also offers the AKC National Owner-Handled Series (competition for dogs handled by their owners rather than professional handlers) and points for Reserve — a 3-point major to Reserve Winners. If you love Bullmastiffs, there is no better week on the calendar.
