What is the Aloha State Sporting Dog Association show?
The Aloha State Sporting Dog Association holds two Sporting-group limited-breed shows on a single Saturday — January 30, 2027 — in Aiea, on Oahu’s south shore. Sporting breeds only: Pointers, Retrievers, Setters, and Spaniels, judged twice in one day — two full Sporting groups for Hawaii’s gun-dog fancy.
The club runs the same format twice a year: in January 2026 the two same-day shows had different Sporting group judges (Dr. Camille McArdle for show 1, Mrs. Meghen Riese-Bassel for show 2). The 2027 panel is pending.

Planning your visit
Aiea is on Oahu’s south shore, west of Honolulu; the nearest airport is Daniel K. Inouye International (HNL). The 2027 venue name hasn’t been confirmed — it’ll be in the premium list when it publishes.
Why go
It’s the only place in America where you can show your Sporting dog in January in shorts. Two groups in one day, island-style: small entries, familiar faces, and some of the nicest Sporting dogs in the Pacific showing close to home.
