Here at Hazel Blue, we believe a pet should be a well-integrated, well-trained lifetime family member. Our philosophy of breeding is to preserve the historical breed standard, and to continue a proud lineage. Ingra and Scott take great strides to identify an excellent, healthy breeding pair with proven AKC Champion lineage – with hopes their union will produce offspring of ideal structure, conformation and movement… combined with a wonderfully curious, playful, and loving temperament! Our goal for the litter is to place each puppy in the home best suited to the puppy’s personality and the family’s lifestyle. We look forward to celebrating adoption into the perfect family that is ideal for that puppy!

AIREDALES ARE THE CHAMPS
Hazel Blue Airedale puppies include AKC limited registration, microchip, veterinary care and vaccinations up to 10 weeks, and a sales contract. We are breeding candidates for next generation show champions, so priority placement is given to show homes. Let us know with your application if you are interested in a show prospect puppy. The puppies not placed in show homes will be placed in the most ideal pet home for that puppy and family. Please note that we cannot accept deposits prior to whelping. Puppies are evaluated between 8-10 weeks, and will not be placed prior to 10 weeks old. No, we do not ship puppies! Parents will be required – and welcomed – to come to Lakewood, WA and pick up their little champ.
Our breeding program is on hiatus until after 2025.

Each breeding is unique. Price will be based on the value of the breeding.
Airedales love kids and an active lifestyle. Airedales do not do well when left alone for long periods of time. They will entertain themselves – which may prove costly – in damage to belongings and/or veterinary visits. Airedales are also not meant to be crated all day alone either. If you are active, take your Airedale along for the adventure!
Yes and no. You are welcome to visit our female (Bitch) here on site. The male (Sire/Donor) is an identified, health tested AKC Champion Airedale whose samples have been shipped. Photos of the Sire are provided, along with documentation of full pedigree for each litter.
Yes, our Champion Sires will be available for stud services to select AKC Champion Bitches who have been health tested.
Hazel Blue does not have a constant supply of puppies waiting for families; only backyard breeders and puppy mills have waiting puppies. Our Bitches will be bred only three times after they have earned their championship and completed their health testing. We only breed when we are ready to add another puppy to our family. Usually, this will result in one litter a year.
