Does my dog stay all day?2021-07-15T18:53:58+00:00

No need! Hazel Blue’s boutique approach to grooming means your pet has a scheduled appointment time. Each four-legged client has a private session with Ingra, and will not interact with other clients or Hazel Blue pets. Please note that Hazel Blue does not provide doggie day care or kenneling services. Most owners opt to wait for their pampered pet!

Hazel Blue requires clients to remain on a routine schedule of at least every 8 weeks. Most clients are on a 4 week recurring schedule.

She is also Master Groomer certified with Long Legged Terriers, and is currently completing her Master certification with Poodles and Spaniels. Hazel Blue is registered and licensed in Washington State and Lakewood, WA and carries grooming business insurance.

Full-Service Cat Grooming includes nail clipping, bathing and conditioning in premium shampoo products, blow dry, sanitary trim, paw pad trim, and all over haircut according to owner preference.

Stanley is very timid. But when he is with Ingra, he totally feels safe.
Do not hesitate to schedule your pet for an appointment!!

Ingra was recommended to me by my vet. She has a reputation for being the best cat groomer in the area, and I wanted nothing but the best for our Teacup Persians! Ingra took the time to make sure I received the style I was looking for and did not disappoint.

My cat is getting matted, how do I manage this?2021-07-15T18:59:05+00:00

Routine grooming is recommended every 4-12 weeks depending on your kitty’s coat and lifestyle. Proper and consistent grooming helps keep your cat mat free and reduces shedding. Matting can be painful. Sometimes a mat can be a brushed or carefully combed free, but significant matting must be shaved away.

Do cats really need grooming? Don’t they groom themselves?2021-07-15T18:59:47+00:00

Yes and yes. Cats are naturally tidy and often spend hours a day licking their coats. Grooming accomplishes much more – shampoo for cleaning, conditioner to soothe skin and eliminate dandruff, all-over haircut to reduce matting/shedding and hairballs, and nail trims. Some breeds, like Persians, also benefit from special attention to the eye and mouth areas.
